Get In Touch
How to contact us with opinions, corrections, additions, and material for the site.
Posts tagged “contact” explain how to reach the people behind Chapters of Dublin, and what kinds of messages are most useful. Readers can help improve the library by writing in with a correction, a missing page, or a book that deserves a place in the collection.
Corrections are always welcome. Many chapters were transcribed by hand or recovered from the earlier version of the site, so a misspelt place name, a dropped line or a missing illustration can slip through. When reporting one, the address of the page and a short quotation of the passage make it easy to find and fix.
Contributions of new material are welcome too, provided they are out of copyright: in Ireland, as in the rest of the European Union, a literary work generally enters the public domain seventy years after the death of its author. Old guidebooks, parish histories, memoirs, photographs, prints and maps of Dublin are all of interest. The posts below give the current contact details, together with a summary of the kinds of material the site is looking for and why copyright matters.
